Christmas 2007

It was an exciting Christmas. Tyler was old enough to really enjoy his gifts and the whole experience. Jack was stoked for each gift that he received, and while they were supposed to be taking a nap, I snapped this shot of them playing on their beds instead. Later they became so excited about their helmets and safety equipment that they wanted to put it on and wrestle with Dad. Audrey did what she does best, which is sleep. Anyway thanks to all those involved, and Happy Holiday's.

More Audrey

It has been a fun week with our newly expanded family. The boys have been great, and Audrey is a cute little lady. She is a good baby and actually sleeps most of the night so far! The boys love the fall in the backyard, Dad is pretty sure that the big tree produces more leafs than any other tree in the world.

The Christmas Tree Hunt

As Christmas approaches our preparation requires the annual hunting for our Tree. Dad and the Boys left the very pregnant Mom at home, and took an all-boys adventure into the great outdoors. It is always fascinating for a little boy to spend time in the mountains. There are endless explorations, natural wonders and colorful imaginations to be found in the time spent outdoors. Jack found some deer bones and wanted to take them home to Mom, but Dad figured we could just show her the picture! Then as we searched for just the right tree, the boys discovered that a muddy gully makes a great slide. After picking through the endless supply of Junipers, we finally located the perfect Pinon. It was a magnificent tree, too bad it grew 10 sizes when we put it in the front room. Good thing Dad has a chain saw!!!

Tyler's b-day party

Tyler's birthday was great! He thoroughly enjoyed his gifts and cake. Thank you to those who gave gifts, called and attended. Pretty dang fun kids. Tyler thought that it was great to have cousins help when he was struggling with opening his gifts! Earlier today the anticipation was to much to handle, so he decided to take a nap with the dog on the bathroom floor.

Stake Track Meet-Payne Boys Dominate

Jack and Tyler put on a world-class show at the Stake Track meet. Jack won his 2+3 age group 25 yard sprint. Tyler blew away the competition in his 0+1 age 25 yard dash. He was so far ahead he felt bad and went back to help the other racers. It was a long morning, but when it came time to perform they rocked the stadium! Sorry for the shaky video!

Captured Moments

We went outside the other day and say Tyler off on his own fishing trip-it just doesn't get much more love-able. We also had an unsuccessful Pine Nut harvest, but the boy's found other ways to entertain themselves like climbing trees. And Tyler playing dress-up is always a treat!

Nightly Wrestling Match

On a nightly basis, Dad and the boy's wrestle. Even when uninvited, Marley (the Dog) joins in the fun. Then it generally turns into Jack and Marley 1-on-1. She is a good dog and never gets too rough. Jack thinks it is one of the funnest parts of his day.

Grandma Paynes House

We had fun in Cache Valley, the boys loved being in the country and spending time with their grandpa, grandma and uncle Darin.

Here are some pics of our trunk or treat! Tyler is a teenage mutant ninja turtle in case you can't tell. He wouldn't pose for pics very well but oh was he cute. Mom and Dad came and used the trike trunk for the trunk or treat.

Jacks Parade

The other day Jack had his Halloween preschool parade. He was such a big boy and walked down the side walk all around the block all by his self. He was a power ranger in case you cant tell without his mask on.

OUR FIRST BLOG

Mom wanted me to start a blog, and I didn't want to do it, so she did it for me. So if it is bad then you can all blame her. I just had to add the cutest kids of all to the blog spots. More to follow...
