My What A Good Baby I Have!

I was over at my parents on memorial day having a bbq when my dad touched Audreys head and said I think shes a little warm, does she have a fever? i shrugged him off thinking that my dad wouldn't even know what was warm or not. (boy i sure give him a lot of credit after raising six kids) the next day it was very clear that she had a fever. and a high one. she was 104.3 for the whole next night and even Tylenol wouldn't bring it down. She just stayed asleep most of the whole day and night and i had to wake her just to feed her every once in a while. She had nooo other symptoms, so i thought it might be a uti. the next day I got her into the doc and sure enough she had a raging uti(urinary tract infection) it was really sad cuz she never cried or anything she just kept smiling all day even at the doctors and nurses. They gave her a shot of antibiotics right there in the office (she did cry when they did that, but she cant be PERFECT!) and told me to bring her back in the morning. So she is doing fine, and I tell this story for one reason, to point out how amazing my little girl is, she is just the sweetest thing. what kind of baby acts that pleasant and happy, sleeps 12 hours straight at night, and even giggles and coos all while feeling like crap? Mine!

Hi from Kolob

Brandon had the day off, so we went hie to Kolob, kolob resevoir that is. This is a resevior at the very top of zion national forest. It is a beautiful drive and everything is so green this time of year. At the top, it was an almost cold, 53 degrees and still had quite a bit of snow around. We spent the day catching fish and having family fun. There is nothing more fun than watching my boys explore their world around them. They had a great time inspecting a grasshopper they caught, touching the slimy fish, and though our boat cannot compare to those of many of our friends and family's, it can keep our kids entertained for some time.
